Changes of state – water

This KS3 resource examines changes of state using the example of water, perfect when teaching the particle model.
In the first activity, students label a diagram that shows the changes of states - e.g. condensation, boiling, melting, sublimation.
There is a set of questions linked to photographs showing everyday changes of state.
The resource is rounded up with an extension task based on a photograph of the extraction of salt from seawater by evaporation.
